Favorite Hair & Skincare Products of The Month

I figured I would do a quick roundup of my favorite hair and skincare products as I’ve definitely been trying out way too many as of late, and I might as well tell you which ones are worth it—that way I can delude myself into believing there is a purpose for my overconsumption of skin and haircare, which there is not.

I have a problem. I need to delete the Sephora app and maybe start journaling.

Or something.

I don’t know.

Anyway, here are my favorites.

I was shocked by how much I have been loving this cleanser. My skin is quite dry, and it has a tendency to become scaly in the winter months, so trying a new cleanser can be a risky business.

This wash has made my skin so soft, and I haven’t had any sort of breakout. It is definitely more expensive than I’d like a cleanser to be, but its worth it.

This has been incredible for my dry skin. Like truly incredible. My skin has been so soft, and I do feel like it’s looked fuller and more bouncy since I started using it.

This has been incredibly effective for me in terms of exfoliating without causing irritation or dryness. I use it once a day, and I have noticed my old acne scars have looked better and my pores seem like they aren’t getting clogged like they used to.

Gisou, when I get you, when I get you, Gisou.

Brother, damn. It actually pisses me off how good this mask is.

My hair is naturally curly, like somewhere between 2c and 3a, so a good mask is important, and this is a good mask.

So after I used this, instead of blowdrying and straightening my hair like I often do, I wanted to see how my natural texture would look. My curls have never looked better, and I’m pissed. I’m PISSSSED. This mask is not cheap, and I fear I’m gonna need to keep buying it for the rest of my life.

First of all, this smells so good. I often use the Heretic Dirty Coconut Hair Perfume, and these two smell great together.

This is the oil I use to “scrunch out the crunch” as it were, and it adds a lovely shine.
